Tracie D. Swayden, M.D.

Founder and owner of SkinMD, serving patients with medical and aesthetic skin care since 2009.

Dr. Swayden earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998, then earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2002. She completed her internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

She has cared for Parker and Tarrant County patients for more than two decades and is a trained physician affiliate of Cenegenics Age Management Medicine. Her approach brings art, science, and medicine together to support healthy aging and natural-looking results.

Jared Roberts, M.D.

Board-certified physician and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in skin cancer removal and reconstruction.

Dr. Roberts completed his Mohs Surgery Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, with advanced training in complex cutaneous oncology, facial reconstruction, and laser procedures.

Before fellowship, he completed his residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium and later served as faculty and Assistant Professor with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, presented nationally, and is fluent in Spanish after living in Argentina for two years.

Linda Hua, MPAS, PA-C

Physician assistant focused on thorough examinations and optimal skin health.

A Dallas native, Linda has been caring for patients since 2015. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2015, after receiving undergraduate degrees in biology and business administration from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2012.

Linda regularly pursues continued education to stay current with advancements in skin care. She values careful examinations and clear guidance, helping patients make informed decisions about their health.

Leonard “Ace” Acevedo, PA-C, MPAS

Physician assistant focused on early skin cancer detection, rashes, acne, and removals.

Ace began his health care career in the United States Air Force as an Emergency Medical Technician. He later earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, spent seven years as a licensed social worker in Houston, and returned to medicine to earn a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where he served as Class President in 2013.

Since 2013, Ace has focused on early skin cancer detection and care for rashes, acne, and other concerns. Training with a Mohs surgeon has strengthened his approach to removals with careful attention to scarring. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his family, running, golfing, kayaking, and college football.

Kimberley Smith

Aesthetician with advanced laser, SkinPen, chemical peel, and HydraFacial experience, with SkinMD since 2012.

Kimberley began her aesthetics career in 1998 after graduating from Fort Worth Cosmetology School. She continued with advanced training at the Conservatory of Aesthetics in Chicago and has worked alongside leading plastic surgery practices in the DFW area.

She is trained and certified in laser procedures, including photorejuvenation, hair removal, non-ablative resurfacing, and radiofrequency therapies. A master-trained SkinPen specialist, Kimberley also provides chemical peels and HydraFacials, creating customized treatment plans around each patient’s goals.
